Notes
Hadn't done a long ride in a really long time so decided no better day than today. Temps were nice to start and was supposed to have no rain. Ended up misting/light rain most of the first 90 minutes or so. Just tried to keep smooth and controlled on the way out so I don't bonk on the way back since I don't really know where I'm going. Got screwed when they wouldn't let me through on some construction on Schlapp, but afterwards wandered down a busier highway til I could find another road that let me go the direction I wanted. Still got a little lost a couple times by not remembering turns but eventually made it out to the gas station that Kris usually stops at. Got some more fluids and food before heading back to find the fox river. Sun was out and much hotter on the way back. Started feeling bad the last 25 miles or so and just didn't have any power but haven't been going long lately so that was deserved. I was heading out hoping for 70ish but ended up much higher than that. Solid ride.
