Notes
SJO 5k this morning. Watch had 15:46 at 5k, clock time 15:53. Not too bad today. Race went out and it filed down to Guido, Phillips and I. They kept surging kinda randomly the first mile or so. Came through just over 5 minutes and then it was just Guido and I. He lasted about another quarter, kept surging every time I'd draw even with him. Finally he kinda pushed a bit too hard once and then the next time I caught him I just went right by. By myself after that and I tried to keep working, but ended up positive splitting it anyway. Even though it wasn't a very hot time, it's still nice to finally win this race, just wish it'd been at least under 15:30. Next week's the race I've been prepping for though, so hopefully it'll come together.
