Really happy with this. Thought it was going to feel too fast but I felt really good for the whole race. I tried to stay at an even 9 flat pace through the first mile, which I was doing up until the fourth lap, where I guess I lost a little bit of time and came through the 1600 in 4:51. I knew I had to pick it up a little if I wanted that sub-9 so I picked it up and came through the next lap in 6:01, so like a 70 flat. After that I just tried to maintain mostly, picking it up a little bit. I still felt good at this point. I started to really pick it up with 600 to go, and even more so at 400. Caught up to Jake with a little less than 200 to go, then him and Brian closed on me hard and just edged me out. We were all super close at the finish but Jake and Brian definitely did have me by about a foot. All in all fantastic TT, really happy with everyone's results.
