Nice run with Brandyn this morning. The wind wasn't even that bad! Seemed to even die down completely at about 4 miles! And the temps weren't that low yet. Good easy pace and good conversation. Didn't even think about my calf today. No issues whatsoever!
However, I noticed the start of a blister towards the end of the run. I noticed it yesterday too but was hoping it was a fluke. Well, that's probably the end of the road for this pair of shoes. Will need to get another pair or two so I have higher drop shoes in the lineup; this was my only non-zero-drop pair.
