Meh workout. Original workout supposed to be 3 x 2mi. Went for the first one at least. Felt really slow for the first half mile but I guess it wasn't that bad looking at the paces. I considered doing just mile repeats but felt better at the end than the beginning of the first mile, so kept going. Second mile slightly better. But tiring. Rest felt more than adequate. But starting up again I felt slow. Again, really not that slow, and I hit the pace more or less, but I was dead by the end. Stopped the second rep after only one mile. Didn't think I had anything left for more so stopped there.

I have mixed feelings about this workout but it was definitely a learning opportunity. I learned working out in the afternoon didn't really make a difference vs morning. Lifting this morning thankfully didn't affect anything. And I still have a lot of work to do to get better at workouts. I am taking this as a sign I just need to keep doing workouts, week in and week out. That's the only way I can improve. Can't get frustrated and stop, just keep moving forward. Continuous iteration and improvement. I'll get better.
