Pulled an old trick from RPI and Jack Daniels and tried a pre-race tempo. Just did 60 seconds instead of 90. The pace ended up being pretty quick probably because it was slightly downhill and I was focusing on going fast. I wasn't sure I'd be able to hit race pace during this tbh but I guess I exceeded it by a good bit. I think I'd like to try this again, it got me a little more ready to race.
