Very happy to get an M pace run in finally. 6:12 average for a quite hilly loop. Lots of rollers with a few really big hills. Started fast downhill with almost 200 feet elevation drop. After that small rollers with marginal elevation gain. Able to maintain good pace here and gain confidence. 5th mile had more ups and downs but still stayed at a great pace, 6:06. Then the last mile was a bit wild, uphill to big downhill to giant uphill. That last hill just kept going and going and going. Almost 150 ft in I think just half a mile.

Very happy I didn't bonk and got in this great training benefit. Felt a bit weak at the beginning but I think I just needed to settle in. Seeing that I wasn't actually going slow in my splits helped. This week should turn out to be pretty decent, and hopefully can have another solid week leading into Krispy Kreme.
