I have finally finished reading Jack Daniels and put together a training plan. Goes from now (well, into the past for phase I) till Mill Cities first week of December. Call it cross country season. This is the first workout of the first week of phase II.

Workout went quite well! 5 x 2,2,4 at rep pace. At first I was worried about the volume, but turns out the recoveries were quite generous. The workout got harder as it went on, but only slightly. I finished the 5th setwith enough gas in the tank to do another. It was fast but smooth. I focused on being comfortable, imagining being in a mile race. Took the first set to get dialed in and after that I was good.

Hoping this bodes well for future things to come. Gonna keep following the plan and we'll see what the results bring!
