Notes

Another really nice long run today. Finally did Big Pizza Slice on foot (biked it plenty 2 yrs ago). I decided to do East Derry and 121 first to get both the main roads and ginormous hill out of the way first. The 121 hill wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. There are a lot of stretches without a ton of climbing. Climbed about 250 feet total over a couple miles. By the end of the run I had climbed almost 900 feet (and descended more - but still).

Kept the pace comfortable and never fatigued through the run. The Old Chester Rd hill wasn't too bad, even with me forgetting about the even worse first part of the hill I don't normally do on shorter runs. And when I got out to East Derry again I decided, what the heck, let's do 16 miles, instead of my original 15. Still felt very comfortable in that last mile.

Very happy with how these long runs have been shaping up the past several weeks. All of them have been quality with no mental, fatigue or soreness issues. I get excited for them going into the weekend and have no problem executing. I just ran two whole hours by myself and enjoyed it the whole time.

Wondering now if I should do a down week next week. Think I will just wait and see how I feel tomorrow. Maybe I'll go lower but not as low as my other down weeks. Could do 52-54 next week and then shoot for 60 the following.
