4x 1200 @ I, 400m/3-4min rest

First interval workout. Ended up being not too bad. Supposed to be 79/400, ended up being 80/400, at least after the first rep. The first one, wow I felt so slow. I think my body needed to realize it was time to go fast. For the second rep I started it fast and pretended I was going at rep pace. So the first 200 was a little fast and then the rest of it seemed good. That was the kick in the butt I needed. Each 1200 was pretty tough but they didn't get too much harder. When I felt tired I tried surging to keep the momentum. Seemed to work.
Overall happy with this workout. Good learning experience too. Next time I will need to go out hard so the first rep isn't so terrible. I feel a little more confident about how much speed I have now too.
A little sore after, in the hips region and especially my left glute. I'm assuming it's from lift last night. Will make sure that's all good to go tomorrow.
