Notes
NRCTC workout- cool out (60), did the warmup w/ Zach, hills and everything else solo.
Workout was:
2 mi warmup, 8xgrass hill loops, 5 min jog, 1 mi tempo (607), 1 mi cooldown.
Tough workout- gotta start somewhere but deff felt very out of shape. Plan had been to do a steady tempo across the hills and goal of doing 10. However- the 1st one was very anaerobic and it didn't get better from there- gassed every hill so grinded to get to 8 hills and called it a day. Decided to try and add in the tempo mile Steen had discussed so jogged 5 min, did the tempo mile in 6:07 feeling like straight jello, then cooled down. Gotta start somwhere and happy to get in an effort but very much felt heavy and out of shape. Core and hips after.
