2.5 mile building warmup on the treadmill to see what my leg would give me- intentionally held off to run until after work since it was super sore this mornign and I wanted to give it a day to walk around on and loosen up, which worked surprisingly well. Honestly, I was hoping that it would just be good enough that I could get in 10 miles on teh treadmil without a limp, the long shot was that I would be able to run fast on it pain/limp free and actually be able to do the k workout that was originally planned. Lo and behold, as I gradually ramped up the pace on the treadmil during the warmup to see what the leg would give, it never got painful or bad.

It was a bit awkward from the start but as I gradually ramped the pace up, it stayed the same. Basically, from the 1.5 mile mark to the 2.5, I started at 6 min pace and cut down all the way to 4:20, which surprisngly I was able to run smooth (surprisingly controlled breathing wise) and no limp, meaning I was good to go to try doing the track workout. In fact, my last half mile on the treadmill was 2:22 and felt relatively smooth, so a good start to the workout.
