3 mile shakeout on the treadmill on my lunch break at xport- basically my trial run of how my lunch break is going to go most days as I attempt to double back. Kept it at 6:15 pace for the first 2 miles and then did 4x30 on/30 off at 4:36 pace the last mile to open up. Besides my hip flexor being tight, my legs felt fine and the strides felt nice and relaxed. The whole process was a bit rushed since it was the first time and I wanted to make sure I got back to work in time to eat- should be easier going from here. Still, to get the workout and 13 total miles done Day 1 is good, happy that I'm hopefully going to be able to balance work with a solid training schedule.
