Decent race, got 2nd to Nick, about a 1:40 back so I'm more happy about that then i am about the shitty time and place in a shallow race. Race felt decent, went out comfortably in 5:12, went through teh 2 mile in 10:56 (5:46 2nd mile) which includes the 500 meter hill, still felt pretty good, once i got to the turn and had the 2 mile long straightaway though, i started to feel the heat and the wind as there was no shade. went through the 3 right around 16:26 or so, 5:29 mile split. then the next few splits were off, as the four mile i ran in 7:10, then almost set the world record the next mile going 3:45. haha average the 2 and they were probably around 5:28 for each one. closed the last mile around 5:10 plus the last .2. It was hot, time sucked, but ill take it as a good first workout and a decent effort
