9 mi building run on the tread after work. A lot of moving parts w/ work and the Loan stuff so was a bit stressed, plus, it was pretty cold out and I just didn't want to trudge outside so put myself on the treadmill so I could be warmer and listen to music. Started at 7 min pace and cut down every half mile. Splits were 6:57, 50, 37, 30, 20, 13, 05, 5:57, 5:50. HR data was good, felt decently "comfortable" through the first part although as per most treadmill runs- definitely dragged a bit. Mentally just tried to take it one mile at a time- toughest was the middle 3 miles as I kinda wanted to stop but once I got past 6, I knew I would get to 9. Aerobically this was a TOUCH more challenging than I would like since it never really was tempo pace but that's alot of mileage on the legs in a few days. Happy with the effort knowing I may only do one other "real" workout this week. Full arm lifting after.
