Including 5 X 1/2 mile repeats @ 5-10K pace with 2 minute recoveries (paces were 6:07, 6:06, 6:02, 5:59, 5:58). After 5th repeat, I ran 1/2 mile easy, followed by 1 mile @ between 10K and HMP (6:15). Was going to do this one on a TM at the gym, but decide to take it outside. I'm glad I did. Very encouraged to be able to run some faster paces in my quality sessions despite the extra "baggage" I'm carrying.
