Specific-endurance interval workout--1.8 mile warm up, 3 X 1 mile @ MP to MP-15 with .5 mile recoveries at easier pace, followed by cool down. After the 3rd repeat, instead of a cool down, I slowed it down slightly for the .5 mile before increasing again the second .5 mile. Temps in the low to mid 40s this morning. Workout should have helped deplete glycogen stores as I kick off the carb-depletion phase of my pre-race plan.
