Wednesday - 3 mile run
Lately my legs have been so heavy and tired, so I decided today that I would run this easy 3 miler without any concern for pace. I would let my body dictate the pace. In other words, I was going to run at a pace that allowed me (and my legs) to enjoy the run, not work the run. After the run, I'd see the pace and know what type of run it was. Turns out, it was a recovery run. That's what my body needed and it was the first run I've really enjoyed in a long time.
Every now and then, I just need to slow down.
