Early morning runs always take me a half mile or so to really get in the groove - even when I stretch before the run. Once I hit my stride, it was a fun, easy run. My pace goal was 11 m/m but I went a bit faster than that. Did a good number of hills and still controlled my stride and breathing pretty well. Def could have gone longer.
