Nice run. It was very warm, so I didn't expect to PR or go sub-25. What I did do, though, was really try to race the first 2 miles to get a feel for the pace. They were both slightly downhill and I knew that I could use that to gain some speed. The last mile was uphill, so I took my time coming back on that one. A couple of walk breaks uphill and then the sprint to the finish.
Chip time may be a few seconds off, will add it once it gets posted. (Chip time was 26:18)
My time was pretty close to the China Grove 5k last year, so I'll be able to compare some of the data like HR, pace, etc. to see what kind of progress I'm making.
