When I was racing, I was in the high 7's for pace, but I couldn't hold that longer than a half mile at a time. A good test to see where I am, even though I didn't hit my A or B goals (under 28 or 29 minutes). But I was under 30, and that was my C goal.
First 5k in 5 years, and almost 2 minutes slower per mile than my best 5k ever at this same race. There's work to be done.
