Notes

Loooong run. I had planned on going 16 today all week. Added motivation to do it was when i saw i needed 16 to hit a 60 mile week. This concludes a week of bodily neglect and poor training. I think i did pretty well for this being an off week. Today, because of the lack of workouts this past week, i decided to tempo towards the end of my long run. The plan going in was 4 miles at sub 6:00 after mile 10. After getting into it, decided it was more practical to do 3 miles tempo. It just worked better. That was the plan until i ran way too fast for the first and second miles. Decided to just cool down in to the end. Kinda cool that i'm in shape and can hit these paces after 14 miles, but i dont think i really gained as much out of today as if i would have done it properly. More of this type of stuff to come though... Just in a better form.

Anywho... about the run: Ran with josh at waterfall. My legs still felt achy the whole time. I NEED NEW SHOES. My achilles was really buggin later in the run but before the tempo. Josh and i kept it really comfortably controlled. Great pace. Then we went on our merry way.

***Also this was the longest run I've ever done.
