9x400 at 5k pace w/200 jog recovery. 3,6,9 were supposed to be 2 seconds faster. Just one of those days were things clicked. I had to workout by myself because Landon, Jack, and Brookhouse were the only other ones doing the workout and I was going faster then them. This workout showed my legs are fully recovered from the 10k. They felt super fresh after doing nothing hard since Saturday. Was shooting for 73-74 w/the faster ones at 71-72. First one I ran a 71 and relaxed on the second one. Still ran a 72, so just accepted that I felt good today and shot for 71-72 w/the faster ones at 69-70. Asked Diemer if I could close the last one because I felt good and he let me go. Without Matt it was a little different, but still ran a solid 64. I don't think I'm in 15:00 5k shape, but it just felt good today. Pretty humid today, but overall this was a great workout.
