MIAA Jamboree meet at Alma. Very interesting course. A lot of fingers on a golf course w/some rolling hills, but I ended up liking it. The race went out very slow. I was right in the lead pack as we came through the mile in 5:05 than 2 miles in 10:28. Wicki made a move around 4k where I just stayed steady. Was with Nathenial at 3 miles in 15:43, but lost some contact just after 5k. Ended up fading a bit the last 3k and finished 17th. Given how my cold was affecting my body this whole week, I was not surprised I didn't quite feel 100%. I also felt not as focused mentally given Sundoger last week followed by this meet then Notre Dame next week. Those can't be excuses though. At Conference finals I need to be as mentally focused as if I'm running a big meet. Once my body feels 100% again and I get my legs back underneath me I should be good. An ok race today, will look to run back to my potential at Notre Dame given my body will have another week to recover from this congestion. Team ran well, we scored 18 points...
