Blackwell hills. 10 of these bad boys. My main goal was get through all 10 no matter what happens. For about the first 4 i didnt feel too hot but i was going up with group 1A with Stowers, Brendan, and Drew. We were about 2-3 secs. behind group 1 so not far enough back to really be a group 2. I knew Stowers would go later because his best workout is hills. My goal was now to stay with Brendan and Drew. 5-8 all felt much better and just kept taking the hill one by one. Was with Brendan and Drew for them. 9 i felt like crap on. I thought i was going to puke at the top but just held it in and gutted it out. It came to 10 and i realized how good of a hill workout i was having. I gutted out 10, still feeling like crap. I did my goal though. I stayed with Brendan and Drew for all 10. Good hill workout and i was very happy with it. I can defaintly tell i am getting stronger on hills, which is a good sign because hills are the only thing i notice i am weak at. Stowers, Xander, Taylor, Alekh, Bushie, Brendan, Shelton and Drew all had great days. Another great team workout. Should be a fun season. Talked with stowers about how going harder on the bike helps with hills. I will probably do a easy swim or bike this afternoon just to loosen me up so im not tight tomorrow.
