9x400 at 3k pace w/200 jog recovery. We did them on the outdoor track. There was some wind on the back turn and it was a little chilly. This workout felt weird from the start. I felt on the 400s I was putting in a decent amount of effort to run 70s-71s. The moment we stopped though I instantly recovered. I could have done the first 7 on 100 jog rest. The last 2 I did need the 200 jog rest though. I think that shows that I was running the correct pace. I think my legs were cold and it took awhile to get my muscles warmed up, so the turnover was not there in the beginning. It was good to see that cardio wise it felt good. Also a strange workout in how fluid the packs were. I never really changed pace, but ended up running with 3 different packs. I felt like I got in the workout that I needed and just flowed with whoever was around me. Reminded me of cross country.
