Twilight 2012. I have no idea of the course lengeth. I have heard rumors from 2.8 all the way up to a 5k. The time im pretty sure of as Mr.Bushelle showed a pic of Bushelle and me crossing the line and the clock says 15:49. I think the offical results said 15:51. Again this meet was an awesome expierence and it was sad to realize it's the last time i will race in this meet. I cant wait to come watch this meet some number of years from now, it's just that cool. As for the race, I didnt feel that well the first half mile. I had a bad stomach cramp and was feeling a little tired. I was starting to get dropped off the group around the shanigans. Once we got around them though, i felt so much better and feel into a good rhythem. Eventually there was a split seperating the chase and lead pack around the 1.5 mile mark. I was feeling good, so i decided to just take the risk and run in that lead pack+i was little nervous because 4 north guys were still there and none of them dropped. Very soon after that split, Alekh and Jimmy Qiao took off and it was Hanselman and I. I was running with him until 2.25, then Hanselman dropped a step back and i took the oppourtunity. I threw in a surge that dropped him and at about the same time Qiao dropped off of Alekh. I soon realized that i could catch Qiao and then Bushie came up with me. We passed Qiao and i wanted to stay with Bushie. The last 400 was the only tough part of the race as the rest of it just felt like a tempo. I stayed right with Bushie, then looked back after we crossed the line to find out that we had sweeped. It was awesome!!! Great team race!!! This team is special!!
