5x1k w/slow 400 jog at 5k pace. Last real hard effort before the half and really wanted to get after some solid VO2 max intervals. Goal coming in was 3:06-3:08 and I felt good hitting the first one in 3:03 so I just stayed right around there. Decided to close the last 400 of the last one harder. There was a little bit of headwind on the backstretch but overall it was nice conditions for a workout.
