More controlled hill workout today. Went out to the bluffs to run up a hill on the road. It takes about 45 seconds to get to the top and averages about a 7-8% grade. Workout was just to do up/downs for 35 minutes. I alternated times. All the odds were 1:00 and the evens were 45 seconds. I did the 1:00 segments to continue to work on running hard after cresting the hill. First few felt a little rough but I felt better as I got more into it. Ended up doing 16 up/downs. I mapped it out and did some math and I was right around 5.5 miles which is what I guessed. Definitely kept it under control with this being a down week but still got some solid strength work in! It was also only 50 degrees this morning which felt nice but is off for this time of the year.
