Notes

15 minutes of brisk. Talk to Steen yesterday about how I can get myself 100% healthy and in good shape for the half in 5 weeks. He said not to focus so much on workouts now but just get in solid aerobic efforts. I wanted to see how my foot would respond to some faster running, so did 15 minutes to warm up then 15 minutes of brisk followed by 23 more minutes of running to get to 8ish miles. Averaged around 5:50 pace for the brisk but that does include going up both the Hill Street hill and a large hill on Geddes. Did the last 23 minutes around 6:30 pace too so the run really never slowed down. My foot actually felt better running faster than slower but besides the first half mile where it needed to loosen up, it felt pretty good the whole time today!
