Dexter-Ann Arbor 10k. 2nd place again. Not as good as a race as the half two weeks ago. Didn't feel like I was going out that hard and I was just in a good rhythm. It started down pouring around 1.5 miles and I started to get nervous that my orthootics would roll up and rub my foot. Around 4 miles that happened and completely blistered the inside of my left foot. Got passed at 4.5 miles and just held on for dear life for 2nd. My foot was hurting a lot! Probably could have won if I didn't blister my foot but it's a race and things happen. Still won $75 so not a bad day. Rylaarsdam got 2nd in the 5k as well. Going to take some time off from running now and then gear up for Chicago! My 5k split was 16:09 so definitely fell apart on the backhalf....
Guy who won was the same guy who won the trail half a few weeks ago so I didn't feel absolutely awful losing to him.
