2 mile at Oswego. Me and barjass (sp?) from schumbarg took it out slow 5:25. Then it was a surge battle. Everytime I tried to pass he surged and this happened a bunch of times. Fianlly on the last lap he had a bit more kick left and beat me by a second. I went 5:14 2nd mile. It was my first negative split ever. I just really wanted to win. It was a fun race, just too bad I didn't come out on top. This was the same time I ran at ncc, my last 2 mile, so I'm getting better. I know the 2 mile isn't my event, but I should still try to work for that sub-10 outdoors. Ran in my flats.
