Notes

6x800 w/400 jog and 6x400 w/200 jog recovery. Today was the first day where I really notice how much I miss working out with a group. My original plan was to do 10x800 w/400 jog recovery at 10k pace. I'm confident I could have done that, but I just lost motivation after about number 4. Pretty windy out at Ferry Field and I really just had no motivation to push myself. I just wanted to do faster shorter stuff, but that was not the point of today. I'm starting to transition more out of the strength stuff (hills, tempos) into more CV/VO2 stuff (10k pace and faster intervals). Today was a CV day. The volume stayed up though, but I really need to buckle down these next 4 weeks before I start to taper.
