M pace workout. I was on a track. It is going to run faster then the wood loop. I would say this would be 35:33 on the wood loop based on other peoples logs that are normally in group 2. The first 2 miles 12:20 (6:20, 6:00). I took the first mile a little slower because i didnt feel too good on the warm up and wanted to ease into it. I dont know the splits of the next 4 miles but they have to add up to 22:53, which is 5:44 pace. Miles 3 and 4 i felt good on and just kept going around the track without really thinking. The last 2 miles were tougher but i got through them and finished. If you want to split it 3 mile first three would have been 18:04, well the last 3 would have been 17:09. Very happy with the m pace on my own. The reason i did the track was to get my body used to the track again for the runathon. How could i do 10 miles on a track picking it up quicker then this if i cant even do 6 at m pace. This workout really makes me feel good and shows that im not only a lot physically stronger then last year but also mentally stronger. It was sunnier and hotter today but nothing to bad. Only one other guy on the track that I lapped 7-8 times. My watch said I went 6.12 in this time which is 5:45 pace, or 34:30 for 6, but that seemed too fast, and my watch sucks when it comes to tracks. Im not sure why.
