Notes

M-pace run on the track today. Little windy, but overall a nice day. Legs felt a little tired from the 18 total miles yesterday, but cardio is feeling really strong right now. I finished this and I knew I could have kept going for another 5 miles. This was actually very close to my half marathon race pace. My miles were 5:51, 5:46, 5:43, 5:43, 5:42, 5:42, 5:41, 5:35. Again just focused on good form and let the pace take care of itself. I took a quick drink at 4 miles and then did the other 4 miles in the opposite direction I was going before. Just something to break up 32 laps on the track. The cardio and strength I have built this summer are coming together at the right time!
