plan was to tempo it but I guess I got carried away lol...once I get a baton I kinda just go
Got that weird muffled ear thing that happens when I race sometimes which is super annoying and worst of all I let the Old Goat TC pass me like 400m from the hand off
but on the bright side, I didn't think I was running nearly as fast as the turkey trot...especially with the one little hill I thought I was probably running closer to 7 flat and I felt great after like I could have gone for much longer...it helped not having a clue where I was (well until the end bc I would have kicked it in knowing how close I was to the hand off)
hopefully this means big things next weekend at Spokane
