Notes
For my second run in Amsterdam, I decided to head out of the city. I did an out-and-back, going straight out to a small town which was beautiful. Much like Geneva, the city drops off surprisingly quickly and the farmland is quite pretty. It was also neat to see the canals everywhere, and run along them!
A perk of running in Amsterdam is also how flat it is - it makes you go faster! I split 32:45 on the first half of the run (averaging 6:24's) with a pretty good headwind, and then came back in 31:09 (averaging 6:06's) while feeling remarkably smooth and comfortable all the way through. Really enjoyed this run, and hope to be back to do some more running in Amsterdam soon!
