Got myself out to the track this morning for the first time in a long while, and it went great. I did the classic threshold 1000's with 50 sec recovery, and it was one of the faster threshold workouts I think I've done. I held consistent 3:16-3:17's for a full 9 reps, running evenly all the way through. The legs weren't 100% fresh, and I could feel that, and I was definitely working hard, but it was still smooth and in control all the way through to the end. Great to see I'm already here, without many workouts under my belt yet this season.
