We hosted Little Three's today, and we won our 24th straight title! The race went much better than last weekend, which I was really pleased with. We were told to take the first 3 miles a little slower than all out, and then pick it up for the last two miles. We kept a solid pack for the easier start, and when we started moving for the last 2 miles I was feeling really strong and moved up a good bit. Even at the very end I was feeling remarkably strong, and I know that had we gone out harder I could have maintained a great pace and finished with a good time (or run even harder for the last two miles perhaps). Despite these good things, however, I still only finished 14th on the team and while the people ahead of me weren't very far and they were tightly packed (so getting one of them would have gotten me several) it still might not be enough to get me to NESCACs.
