Notes

I went for my longest ride to date this afternoon, and tried something very different. I ventured out from my apartment across the GW Bridge, and then followed a small road north right along the river. It was tucked into the trees just above the water, and was brilliantly colored by the leaves. Was an absolutely amazing ride outside the city and taking in the fall colors.

The paces were a bit slow on these splits due to i) going slowly on the bridge, and ii) the hills on the river road, but it was still a solid (and long!) workout. I didn't bring any food with me though, and got very hungry about 2/3 of the way through - that left me feeling pretty weak by the end. Good notes for next time..
