I finally got myself out the door twice in a day for the first time all summer, and I'm glad that I did. I headed out to HG (the short way) and then went through town and came back home via Kipp and then Douglas/Hardscrabble (and then added about .25 more miles when I got back to make it a full 8 mi). I didn't feel too great this afternoon, and I was noticing again that my cadence really seems to be suffering for some reason. I need to work on getting leg speed up, and I'll start with some speed development tomorrow. I even picked up the last half mile or so of the run today to try and get the legs moving and it juts felt really awkward which I wasn't happy about at all. Definitely something I need to start working on right away.
