Seattle

Notes

It was an absolutely beautiful day in Seattle today, and I was glad to get out for a run this evening. I went out along the water again, and though it took me three trips to the city, I finally managed to see Mt Rainier! I tried to do a loop up through Queen Anne as well, but when I got to the small trail that would lead me up there from the water it looked a bit sketchy, so I turned around and headed back the way I came.

I was feeling pretty strong, so as I was accelerating a bit on the way back, I decided to throw in one harder mile just to test the legs a bit. I was tired but turned in a fairly respectable 5:50 for the one-mile effort, before cooling down back to the hotel. I was working a bit for it but not dying, which was pretty nice to see. Easier day tomorrow (if I can squeeze in a run), and then diving into something this weekend.
