I went out for a tempo this morning and it went alright. I started out pretty slow with the warm up just to ease back into the running after my day off, and after 3 miles I started the tempo. I had thought for some reason that the stretch from the end of the Girl Scout camp road all the way back to Chappaqua via Wash Ave was generally flat, and that obviously isn't the case. As such, the tempo was a bit slower than I had hoped it would be (5:57, 6:10, 6:25, 6:02) but nevertheless the effort was there and other than a little tired I felt pretty good for it.
