I finally got myself out for a workout this afternoon, and it went.. alright. It was warm and I wasn't feeling great, so I broke my tempo into two 3-mile pieces. The pace was actually okay (and I even had a headwind for the first 3-mile piece), but I'm definitely not used to this heat yet and it did not feel great. I was definitely working harder than I should have been, and even during the recovery mid-way through my HR didn't come down very much. Good to get the legs working hard today, but I need to down more water and adjust into this summer running...
