Got out for a great ride with J this afternoon in Chappaqua (visiting for Mother's Day tomorrow). This was probably exactly the kind of easier effort I needed -- it was Zone 1 - 2 for the whole thing, and while first instinct was that it was *too* easy, I actually liked the opportunity to relax and enjoy the time out with him, plus the tradeoff was that it was a slightly longer total time than average days. Also always a treat to get to work out with a buddy.
