Fartlek run @ cruise interval pace. After having such a bad tempo earlier this week I decided to "baby" my other pace workout for the week. Normally on a Fartlek run, I would run 3 min at pace with a 2 min rest interval. Given how I felt on Tuesday, I did the reverse - 2 min at pace with 3 min rest interval. I was also careful to not drop my pace below 10K pace.
I was able to get some speed in without taxing myself too much. Hopefully, this was the right approach and will pay dividends in the long run.
All things considered, I felt decent again today... not fast, but decent.
