My first tempo run in about 3 months and it felt like it.
2 miles warm up
3 miles tempo effort
2 miles cool down
In terms of pace, I feel like I am probably about 10 - 15 seconds per mile off of true tempo pace, but it was good to go through the motion of picking up the pace a bit.
I am wayyyyy out of shape, but that will come. While I still feel pain during my run, it is not restricting me in any big way currently.
