Decent run with Gary. Been a while since we ran together so it was great to have a partner out there.
Foot and hip flexor felt pretty good for 11 miles or so. At about 11 miles the foot started to get pretty sore. Last 3 miles were tough as the foot really star I actually delayed uploading this workout until today Monday so that I could report on after effects.
Once I returned home I iced the foot and tried to stay off of it as much as possible. It must have worked as today it feels about the same as it has for a week or so now... tender, but not enough to deter me from running. I am, however, going to take today off as a precaution.
As for the run, I ran it pretty much like I set out to... at a nice easy pace for a distance of 13 - 15 miles. Through a really tough hill in through Larry Uteck drive for the first time. I must remember to go through this neighborhood again as I really noticed my decline in fitness through there. On the positive side, this was the longest run in terms of distance since Boston.
