Went out hoping to run the 5 tempo miles in 6:30. Actually ran them in 6:24. Legs felt stiff and dead after Sunday's 22 miler, but when called to the task they responded... albeit with some coaxing.
That said, the run was a bit of a confidence booster. I was worried I had blown myself out after Sunday and my lack of desire to run upon waking this morning was a cause for intial concern. That said, the workout has me in a more positive mood.
