Another Cold One...Run after work that is...Going by the calendar spring is here but this run had a January feel to it...The brilliant afternoon sunshine masked the cold air and biting wind...despite all that I enjoyed a peaceful mid-tempo training run...with a couple of road races on the horizon, I stuck to the scenic road and farm trail to work on some speed...Had to deal with some strong headwinds...Wildlife: the only glimpse I caught today was of the mangled carcass of a small deer just over the wooden bridge on the Merkle side...Lively deer and Geese be gone...no birds around - must be too cold...Recovery was a Budweiser Tall Boy...798c...felt good...
